Celebrating Excellence: Jordan Mahrer Named 2024 Operations Director of the Year

We are beyond thrilled to share some incredible news from this year’s annual SPEC Franchise Conference—our very own Jordan Mahrer has been named the 2024 Operations Director of the Year!

This prestigious honor recognizes an individual whose leadership goes far beyond managing daily operations. It celebrates those who build people, elevate culture, and drive lasting success across every facet of their organization. And if you’ve ever worked alongside Jordan, you know this award couldn’t be more deserved.

Jordan’s journey is a shining example of growth through grit, passion, and purpose. She began her career with The Salon Professional Academy in Maplewood as a part-time educator, advanced to Lead Educator, then stepped into the role of Admissions Director, and now stands at the helm as our Operations Director—a role she’s earned through unwavering dedication and tireless work ethic.

Here’s what was shared when Jordan received the award:

They are developers, team builders, imaginers, culture caretakers, roadblock removers, and true inspirers. Jordan lives and breathes that definition. With sharp strategy, deep empathy, and relentless drive, she steers our Academy forward each day—ensuring that our students, staff, and guests all experience the very best of what TSPA Maplewood has to offer. Whether she’s solving a challenge behind the scenes or leading from the front, Jordan’s impact is felt in every corner of our school.

Her team shares that she:

• Is always available—on or off campus—to offer support and guidance

• Is an avid learner, constantly enrolling in new education and never missing a chance to grow

• Read 117 books last year alone—and is already halfway to that number again this year!

• Brings calm to chaos, structure to strategy, and heart to everything she does

• Sets a standard of excellence not just for herself, but for everyone around her

And perhaps most importantly—Jordan inspires. Her leadership sets the tone, her energy sets the pace, and her integrity sets the bar.
