How to Enroll at The Salon Professional Academy in Maplewood, MN

Step 1: Attend a Career Planning Session

The first step in your enrollment process is to attend a Career Planning Session at TSPA Maplewood. During this session, you will:

• Learn about the different programs we offer: Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Massage Therapy.
• Determine which program aligns with your career aspirations.
• Decide on the best start date to fit your schedule and goals.

Step 2: Provide Identification

Ensure you have a valid form of identification ready. Acceptable IDs include:

• State-issued ID
• Passport
• Military ID

Step 3: Complete the Application

You have two options to complete your application:

1. Paper Application: Obtain a paper application from our Admissions Office.
2. Electronic Application: Our admissions representative can send this for you to fill out electronically.

Step 4: Fill out your FASFA

You will want to start planning for you investment into your education.  Here is the link to fill out your

Step 5: Submit Educational Documents

To complete your application, you’ll need to provide the following:

• High School Diploma and Official High School Transcript, or GED Certificate
• College Transcript (if applicable)
• Any state-mandated documents

If you need to request transcripts, fill out a Transcript Request Form. Have your transcripts sent directly to:

Step 6: Sign Enrollment Agreement and Complete Orientation

Once all your documents are reviewed and approved, you will:

• Sign your Enrollment Agreement
• Attend an orientation session to finalize your enrollment and get acquainted with TSPA Maplewood.

Step 7: Pay Fees,

At the time of signing your Enrollment Agreement, you will need to pay your enrollment fee and down payment. We accept:

• Cash
• Check
• Credit Card

Determine your plan for the remaining balance.

 

Step 8: Complete Scholarship Applications

Our Admissions Office offers various scholarships with specific due dates. To apply:

1. Obtain scholarship applications from the Admissions Office.
2. Complete and submit the applications by their respective deadlines.
3. Return completed scholarship applications to the Admissions Office or email them to: admissions@tspamaplewood.com.

If you have been awarded any other scholarships, provide those details to the Admissions Office.
