A Day of Creativity and Career Connections!

At The Salon Professional Academy in Maplewood, MN, we believe in celebrating both creativity and career opportunities for our talented students. That’s why our 7th Annual Halloween Fashion Show and Career Fair was an unforgettable day filled with high-energy fashion, stunning transformations, and exciting career connections.

A Spooktacular Fashion Show

This year’s Halloween Fashion Show was nothing short of magical. Our cosmetology, esthetician, and massage therapy students wowed the crowd with incredible transformations on their models. The students embraced their inner artists, showcasing their skills in hairstyling, makeup artistry, and special effects. Models strutted down the red carpet in jaw-dropping costumes, each one more creative and impressive than the last!

From fierce and futuristic looks to classic horror-inspired themes, the energy in the room was electric as local salons and spas cheered on the students. With each walk down the runway, the audience couldn’t help but be amazed by the talent and passion of our students. As part of the event, local professionals from the beauty and wellness industries were given the opportunity to vote for their favorite transformations. The diversity of ideas and unique designs showed just how much our students have learned and grown at TSPA.

A Career Fair with a Purpose

Following the fashion show, the energy didn’t slow down as we transitioned to the Career Fair portion of the day. Local salons and spas set up tables to share more about the exciting career opportunities available for students in the beauty and wellness industry. This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to network, ask questions, and connect with potential employers in a relaxed and fun environment.

The Career Fair also allowed students to learn more about the industry, including potential job openings, internships, and other career growth opportunities. Whether students are interested in working in a salon, spa, or even starting their own business, the Career Fair was the perfect space to explore their next steps in the beauty world. To make the day even more model with her incredible eye for detail, ensuring that the models’ looks were immortalized in breathtaking portraits. Her expertise brought an extra layer of professionalism to the event, allowing students and their models to feel like true stars. The high-quality photos from the shoot will serve as lasting memories of a night filled with creativity, fun, and career-building moments. A Day to Remember

The 7th Annual Halloween Fashion Show and Career Fair was truly an event to remember. Not only did our students demonstrate their technical skills and creative abilities, but they also had the chance to build relationships with local industry professionals. We are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication of all our students, who continually strive for excellence in their training.

A huge thank you goes out to the local salons, spas, and our team who supported our students and participated in the event. Your encouragement, support, and expertise are invaluable to the growth of our future beauty and wellness leaders. A special thank you to TJ, our massage therapy instructor who worked hard decorating our space for the event and those who helped him.  He adds amazing energy and fun to our academy and fashions shows.
